I am Pippi takes on the beloved character Pippi Longstocking from a new perspective – through the people who portray her. In the film, we meet 15 different “Pippis” in Europe, China, and the US; Pippis who are touring, nursing, and partying, who are children, drag queens, activists, and football fans.
I am Pippi is an exploration of Pippi as a phenomenon and a tribute to the power of playfulness, culture and wild imagination.
